The Leftovers of the Aftermath_STORYTELLING
The Leftovers of the Aftermath was the work that closed the exhibition and project Seeds for resistance. A textile work representing the body of the artist/mother, with a belly filled with all of the material leftovers of the project, it presented the public but, mainly, the artist herself with a question: what happens to the body of the mother after gestation, childbearing and child rearing?
In a hurting BODY in a wounded WORLD the artist returns to this work an to the question to answer it.

The Leftovers of the Aftermath fue la obra que cerró la exposición y el proyecto Semillas para la Resistencia. Una obra textil que representa el cuerpo de la artista/madre, con el vientre lleno de todos los restos materiales del proyecto, planteó al público, pero sobre todo a la propia artista, una pregunta: ¿qué ocurre con el cuerpo de la madre después de la gestación, el parto y la crianza? En un CUERPO doliente en un MUNDO herido, la artista retoma esta obra y la pregunta para responderla.
