To achieve the normative beauty standards set up by culture, female bodies have to go through a variety of arduous and painful processes. Losing weight, waxing, wearing high heels, dyeing their hair with toxic products are some that come to mind. Female bodies endure this pain with the final goal being to be beautiful and to give visual and physical pleasure to others (usually male) bodies.

Perder peso, depilarse con cera, usar tacones altos, teñirse el cabello con productos de alta toxicidad son algunos de los que vienen a la mente. Soportamos este dolor con el objetivo final de ser bellas y dar placer visual y físico a otros cuerpos (generalmente masculinos).
