Mother and Earth
Living through the event that is motherhood, I was awaken to the fierce experience of that what is personal is political*. Since 2017 I have been developing the project Seeds for Resistance, which explores this notion through the conversations I have with my daughter. For the comisioned exhibition at the Centre for Contemporary Art and Sostainability, within their yearly series Gender and Territory, I created works considering rethinking care work, specifically that involving the accompaniment in the child's learning experience and its essential role in relation to our ecosystem(s).

A través de la experiencia de la maternidad se despierta en mi la vivencia feroz de que lo personal es político*. Desde el 2017 he estado desarrollando el proyecto Semillas para la resistencia, que explora esta noción a través de las conversaciones que tengo con mi hija. Para la exposición comisionada por el Centre d'art contemporani i sostenibilitat (CACIS) dentro de su cíclo anual Genere i territori, creé varias obras considerando repensar los trabajos de cuidados, en concreto el del acompañamiento en el aprendizaje en la infancia y su lugar esencial en relación a nuestro(s) ecosistema(s).
